Mirlene
Co-Founder & Chief Everything Officer
Mirlene is not only the Co-Founder and CEO of this company, but she is also the mother of three lovely children, a real estate investor, and a home cook. She is also married to our co-founder, AJ. Bright sunny days, a large plate of Mayi Moulin (polenta made in the Haitian style), binge-watching Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and family board game night are some of her favorite things.

Co-FOUNDER & President of Revenue (CFO)
Husband to Mirlene and proud father to three beautiful kiddos, AJ handles all things financial for Savory Thoughts. AJ is also the number one taste tester for Savory Thoughts! From time to time he gets his hands dirty in the kitchen as a part-time home chef. AJ is also a real estate investor and master of cake-eating! On a beautiful day, you can find him at a park walking or bike riding.
Gen Abanilla
Marketing Rockstar
Gen is the Marketing Manager for Savory Thoughts (for both this site and our sister site). She can’t survive without nature and outdoor activities. In the pool and open water, she competed in freediving. While Gen is confident in depths, she is terrified of heights and wants to become an excellent longboarder. Gen is also a fur mom to three wonderful dogs.
